Mr. Jamestin K. S. – Strategic Advisor

Mr. Jamestin is a B.Tech in Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering, holds a Diploma in Operations Management and an MBA in Finance. He is trained at Indian School Of Business for an 18 month’s program for senior managers.

Mr. Jamestin served on the Board of ONGC till July 2014, as Director- Human Resource, with additional charge as Director I/C Business development. As Director I/C Business development, he was responsible for a portfolio of large Joint ventures and projects, with a cumulative investment exceeding Rs 50,000 crores.

He also served on the boards of the following ONGC group companies
  • ONGC Videsh Limited – ( Overseas E&P)
  • Mangalore Refineries and Petrochemicals Ltd- ( Refining & Petrochem)
  • Petronet Mangalore Hassan Bangalore Pipeline Ltd (PMHBL)- as Chairman of the Board
  • ONGC Petro Additions Ltd (OPAL) – ( Rs 27000 Cr, Olefinic Petrochemicals)

Mr. Jamestin has 37.5 years of multifaceted professional experience. In HR, he has brought in remarkable transformation in areas such as E- Enablement of HR functions, path breaking employee welfare schemes, Talent Acquisition & Management, Succession Planning, Performance Management and Compensation, Stake Holder Relationship, Work life balance etc.

As a blend of HR professional and a Technocrat, his other areas of expertise encompass Process Control and SCADA, Information Technology and Telecommunication Projects , Offshore Construction, Power and Renewable Energy Projects, Petrochemical Projects, LNG Business, Business Computing and ERP, Office Automation, Offshore Security Projects, Large Civil Construction Projects, Project/Program Management, Contract administration, Material Management etc. He is credited as the architect and implementer for one of the largest & most successful SAP ERP Projects in the word, Project ICE for ONGC, which has won much international acclaim.

Mr. Jamestin is a certified PMP and a Certified Project Director & Assessor from Internationals Project Management Associates ( IPMA –Level A). Currently, he is the Vice President of PMA –India Chapter.

He is a recognized leader for driving strategy and business transformation, with special emphasis on guiding technology/digitization enabled transformation and operational excellence at global organizations.
